NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING BEFORE THE DESIGN REVIEW COMMITTEE

The Provo City Design Review Committee will hold a public hearing on Thursday, June 11, 2015, at 12:30 p.m., in the Community Development Conference Room at the Provo City Center, located at 330 West 100 South. The following items below will be discussed, and anyone interested is invited to attend and provide comment. Preceding the public hearing, a briefing will be held at 12:00 p.m. The briefing is open to the public; however, formal presentation of items, public comment, and actions will be reserved for the public hearing at 12:30 p.m.

ITEM 1                  Travis Taylor, agent for Neighborworks Provo, requests Design Review Approval for a 62-unit multi-family residential project on approximately 2 acres, generally located at 510 South 400 West, in the Interim Transit-Oriented Development (ITOD) zone. ITEM 2                  Provo City’s Energy Department requests final Design Review approval, to rebuild the Energy Department campus with a new 51, 890 square foot office building that includes truck and service bays, a new storage/work yard, new parking lot, and new decorative perimeter wall.  The small pocket park amenity, on the west side of the campus, will also be expanded.  The project area comprises 9.76 acres overall, and is located at 251 West 800 North, in the Public Facilities (PF) Zone.
