NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING BEFORE THE LANDMARKS COMMISSION

The Provo City Landmarks Commission will hold a public hearing Wednesday, February 22, 2017, at 12:30 p.m. in the Community Development Conference Room at the Provo City Center, located at 330 West 100 South. The items listed below will be discussed, and anyone interested is invited to attend and provide comment. Preceding the public hearing, a briefing will be held at 12:00 p.m. in the Community Development Conference Room. The briefing is open to the public; however, formal presentation of items, public comment and actions will be reserved for the public hearing at 12:30 p.m. Please note that this hearing is outside of the regularly projected 2017 meeting dates, and has been called as a special meeting,

ITEM 1 Lloyd Architects requests a Landmarks Certificate of Appropriateness for an addition to and roof replacement for the Alma Van Wagenen House, located at 415 East Center Street. Joaquin Neighborhood. 16-0005LMDR, Josh Yost, 801-852-6408. This item was continued from the January 18, 2017 and the February 15, 2017 hearings.

Items noted on the agenda with a star (*) require legislative action by the Municipal Council following a public hearing. Unmarked items are administrative actions requiring the approval of only the Landmarks Commission. Decisions on items involving either landmark designation or the refusal to issue a Certificate of Historic Appropriateness may be appealed to the Municipal Council within thirty (30) days of the decision of the Commission per Section 16.03 of the Provo City Code.
