The Provo City Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, April 8, 2015, at 5:30 p.m. in the Municipal Council Chambers of the Provo City Center, located at 351 West Center Street. The items listed below will be discussed, and anyone interested is invited to attend and provide comment. Preceding the public hearing, a briefing will be held at 4:30 p.m. in the Community Development Conference Room, located at 330 West 100 South. The briefing is open to the public; however, formal presentation of items, public comment and actions will be reserved for the public hearing at 5:30 p.m. in the Municipal Council Chambers. ITEM 1*           Harry McCoard, Provo Bay Neighborhood Chair, requests a text amendment to Provo City Code 14.37.080 to modify the front yard parking exception to apply to a greater range of residences throughout the City. City Wide Impact, 15-0003OA, Austin Corry, 801-852-6413

ITEM 2*           The Provo City Community Development Department requests an Ordinance Amendment to Provo City Code Sections 14.23.020(7), 14.14A.040, 14.14B.040, 14.14C.040, and 14.14E.040, in order to clarify language regarding permitted uses and prior created lots. ITEM 5*           Michael Lamont requests an Ordinance Amendment to Provo City Code Section 14.34.350 (Recreational Vehicle Storage and Towing Impound Yards), in order to strike language requiring such use to be located on an arterial or collector street. Decisions on the unmarked items may be appealed to the Board of Adjustment by making application with the Community Development Department by 6:00 p.m. within 14 days of the Planning Commission decision.
