The Circles Initiative (through Provo Community Action &
Food Bank) is a program that seeks to help families and individuals overcome
poverty. We are looking for long-term volunteers to be matched with program
participants; volunteers attend Circles meetings with program participants and
provide friendship and encouragement as participants set goals and work to
improve their lives. We also need people on our Recruitment Committee. The
Circles Initiative currently has a site in Provo that meets on Tuesday nights,
and will be opening two other sites in Utah County this year, so we have a great
need for new volunteers as the program expands!
