NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING BEFORE THE LANDMARKS COMMISSION

The Provo City Landmarks Commission will hold a public hearing Wednesday, December 16, 2015, at 12:30 p.m. in the Community Development Conference Room at the Provo City Center, located at 330 West 100 South. The items listed below will be discussed, and anyone interested is invited to attend and provide comment. Preceding the public hearing, a briefing will be held at 12:00 p.m. in the Community Development Conference Room. The briefing is open to the public; however, formal presentation of items, public comment and actions will be reserved for the public hearing at 12:30 p.m.

ITEM 1 Review of responses to a request for proposals for the update to the Provo East Central Historic District Survey.

ITEM 2 Update on Historic Tour App progress and publicity planning.

Items noted on the agenda with a star (*) require legislative action by the Municipal Council following a public hearing. Unmarked items are administrative actions requiring the approval of only the Landmarks Commission. Decisions on items involving either landmark designation or the refusal to issue a Certificate of Historic Appropriateness may be appealed to the Municipal Council within thirty (30) days of the decision of the Commission per Section 16.03 of the Provo City Code.

Copies of the agenda materials, public hearing procedure, and staff recommendations are available the week of the hearing at reasonable cost in the Community Development office, located at 330 West 100 South, Provo, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday. The Provo City Board of Adjustment will hold a public hearing on Thursday, December 17, 2015, at 5:00 p.m. in the Municipal Council Chambers of the Provo City Center, located at 351 West Center Street. The items listed below will be discussed, and anyone interested is invited to attend and provide comment. Preceding the public hearing, a briefing will be held at 4:00 p.m. in the Community Development Conference Room, located at 330 West 100 South. The briefing is open to the public; however, formal presentation of items, public comment, and actions will be reserved for the public hearing at 5:00 p.m. in the Municipal Council Chambers.
